Our Story

Here at St. Mary's Assumption Eastern Rite Catholic Church, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. The congregation of St. Mary's Assumption Eastern Rite Catholic Church has been led by Fr. Ivan Dornic since its rebuilding on its current location in Joppa, MD in 1991. For over Twenty-five years Father Dornic has fostered a community of faith and heritage in the area which he has begun expanding into a series of events celebrating the culture and history of Eastern Europe.
